ERIK SHOJI

SPG Sports has announced the signing of Erik Shoji – an American professional volleyball athlete, regarded as one of the best male liberos in the world.

Shoji is the third volleyball athlete to sign with the SPG Sports family, joining Benjamin Patch and Jenia Grebennikov.

"We are thrilled to welcome Erik to the SPG Sports family! Erik’s brand speaks for itself – with over 770k followers on all of his social media platforms, we look forward in helping him to monetize his content, continue to build his brand, and facilitate new business development opportunities in strategic countries” said Alexander Sapega, Founder and Chief Executive Officer at SPG Sports.

Named ‘Best Libero’ at the 2019 FIVB Nations League and the 2015 FIVB World Cup, Shoji earned a CEV Champions League title and a CEV Cup while winning championship titles in Austria, Germany, and Poland. During the 2016 Olympic Games, Shoji played a crucial role for the United States national team during their 3rd-place finish.

Shoji’s signing is a reflection of SPG Sports’ commitment to growing the sport of volleyball around the world.

“I am so excited to be joining the SPG Sports Family. I have been looking for a team to help me build my brand and I feel amazing joining SPG Sports. They have great vision, work hard, and communicate on a daily basis. I am ready to get to work and see what we come up with!” said Erik.
